Is infinitely contained within
A cosmic source of endless love
Just waiting to begin.

Every soul is poetry coiled within
A heart. When we allow this to
Unfurl and share it with the world,
That’s when we create art.

There’s nothing else in the world
That could feel close to the Lord’s grace
Than these gentle waves of love
That flow between us
For every time I hear your beating heart
It reminds me of the miracle that you are
And that this umbilical connection
Binds us in more ways than one
Your soul is a place where grace is spun
And where a lifetime of love
has only just begun

And feel your own weight
For all it implies
Is that there’s great love
Contained inside.

Despite the aching solitude
The crippling fear
And the heartbreak
There is also an unshakable sense
Of love, unity,
Prayer and community
That rises from
The embers of this age
Until one day we find
That all that would be remembered
Of this time is that
No matter how hard things got
Your heart remained safe
In the hands of God.

Beautiful things you can wear

 Allow yourself to see the delicate beauty in the
Tenderest parts of your petal soft heart
And you’ll see how not all wars must
Be won by courageousness alone.
Some days we will find that our
greatest strength lies in
Our ability to see that
Love resided within the
core of our deepest
vulnerabilities.

Autumn days are for watching
The way auburn leaves fall and
Kiss the earth to show
That the trees have made peace
With letting go

Today I saw the face of courage;
The way grace was held in place of pain
And how the heavy boulders placed upon
the shoulders of the brave
Were graciously received and gently
Weaved piece by piece into
A majestic garland which rested
Upon their heart, serving only
To further enhance their beauty
What a true blessing it is to
Come to know such courageousness
And to see the face of God
In the eyes of those
That carry a selfless
grace

About sitting and listening
To the sound of your breath
Within quietness
For in the silence we hear all the
Unspoken truths loud and clear;
The whisper of the breeze.
The heartbeat of the trees
And within these humble
Messengers of peace,
Another voice so gentle
That the sentimental mind
Mistakes it time and time again
For the anonymity of peace
Yet in reality it’s the
Lord of our heart
Who speaks

With the faith that
Each step will lead me
Exactly where
I need to

Dear one, be gentle on your heart;
For even the darkest parts are sacred
And that shade you think pervades
Your soul is only God’s way
Of protecting you from
The scorching ways of disdain
So slow down, take a breath
And allow your heart to rest within
These words of affirmation;
His love is the only place
My heart will seek validation.

Enraptured by the moon
And the vast expanse of seas and skies
Cause your heart to swoon
Dear one I wish you’d see
There’s more than meets the eye
And if you gaze upon your heart awhile
