If you have ever been to Santorini, the one thing that stays with you forever is that beautiful sunset overlooking the picturesque blue and white homes adorned with beautiful & Iconic pink flowers, as the waves crash into the shores below. Just as the day is coming to a close and night is ready to take hold, the air is filled with the smell of fresh pink bougainvillea flowers, honeysuckle and the saltiness from the shorelines. Oh, how we

From the inside out-
Even the stars
Dimmed from our existence

Telling them about something that only lasted a few

Staining the sky with streaks of crimson red

Sorrow, Passion, lit up the entire sky

I still carry your memories in my heart

We spend boiled around
Each other’s needs,
Tangles arteries
Carrying our fears away.
Intrepid is my heart
that beats for itself
But chooses,
Every day,
Without question,

Hungover from drinking you in
All night.
My stomach churns as I roll over
To find that the dent
In the mattress is all that’s

The best kindling
